IMAGINE is our 2008 stewardship theme.
Identity
Mission
Abundance
Gifts

Everyone
Imagine what our church would not be able to do and be without these key seven elements of our life, ministry and mission together in service to God in the love of Jesus Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Now, by looking into the mirror of the future, imagine what our church can continue to do and can become through our stewardship of these gracious gifts from God.

Stewardship Campaign 2007
Our 2007 stewardship theme is “The Growing Power of a Grateful Heart.” Psalm 9:1 declares: “I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all your wonderful works.” The giving of our whole selves to God is motivated by gratitude for grace and is directed to the world of great need. As grateful hearts grow so the church’s mission grows - reaching deeper and further to all people in all places - all to the glory of God and in name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Stewardship grows from gratitude!

Stewardship Campaign 2006
Our 2006 stewardship theme is "Step Into
the River." In John 7:38, Jesus says: "Those who
believe in me. out of their hearts shall flow rivers
of living water." The grace of God in Jesus Christ pours
upon us like rain. That grace then flows through us
to form a river of compassion and caring that extends
throughout the world. Each of us, in our own way, becomes
part of the flow of God's grace to the world as we step
out in faith and use the talents, time, abilities and
resources we have been given to become part of the river
that reaches out to others. In our stewardship, we are
invited and challenged to "step into the river." |

Stewardship Campaign 2005
Our 2005 stewardship theme, "Let Your Light Shine"
builds upon Jesus' words "I am the light of the world"
and "You are the light of the world." As white light
refracts through a prism into the varied spectrum of
colors, God's light of love in Christ shines in and
through our church into our varied spectrum of service
to Christ. Included in this service-spectrum are the
following expressions, each utilized in a verse of our
theme song This Little Light of Mine, mission trips,
stewardship, youth groups, Sunday school, fellowship,
worship and evangelism.

Stewardship Campaign 2004
Our stewardship theme for 2004 is "Stir With Love."
Using a portion of Psalm 104:15, ".bread to strengthen
the human heart." as our focus, we are exploring and
learning the many ways God calls us to use our time,
talents and treasures to provide the "bread" of ministry
and mission in the name of Jesus Christ. To learn more

Stewardship Campaign 2003
The photo on the left depicts our stewardship theme
for 2003, "From His Hands Through Our Hands."
Using Luke 12:48, "From everyone to whom much has
been given, much will be required" as our focus,
we are exploring and learning the many ways God calls
us to use our time, talents and treasures. We believe
that God is calling us to be His hands of mercy, grace
and love both here in Gettysburg, PA and throughout
the world.

silhouette appearance signifies misuse of human freedom in
sinful ways.

no matter how bad things get, God never gives up on his creation.
|
|
